It's unbelievable! When workers delivered petitions to Senator Arlen Specter's office in favor of the Employee Free Choice Act last week, they were told by a staffer that "as soon as you leave, your letters will go straight to the trash." The Employee Free Choice Act would make it easier for employees to bargain for better wages, benefits and working conditions by forming unions. Senator Specter knows that. And until recently, he strongly supported the bill. But now he's completely caved in to corporate lobbyists.
