Tell Verizon to Honor its Employees' Union
A majority of Verizon Business technicians in the Northeast chose to form a union through the “majority sign-up” process. But Verizon is ignoring its employees’ decision to form a union.
Please send a letter to President of Verizon Business John Killian letting him know you support the workers and believe they should have a real voice at work. Ask Verizon to recognize the workers’ union!

Subject: Please Recognize Your Workers' Union
Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,
As a person who cares about the way a company treats its employees, I wanted to let you know how disappointed I was to hear that you have not recognized the union formed by your Verizon Business employees.
I urge you to reconsider your stance and recognize your workers' union. Most of your employees have union representation and the rights provided by a union contract. Verizon Business employees deserve what their colleagues have.
More and more employers, including those in the telecommunications industry, understand the value and importance of fair and respectful labor practices. These companies have my support and admiration. Please realize there is another way, and your workers deserve better.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
|
