Subject: End the cycle of abuse, intimidation, fear, & abuse

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

I'm sending you this petition to urge you to stop abusing your 5,500 employees in Tar Heel, North Carolina.

I have just learned workers at this plant are forced to work under harsh circumstances and must deal with unnecessarily fast line speeds, inadequate training, and improper safety. You have more than enough resources to see that your workers have a safe and healthy workplace.

Further, it is my understanding that you have repeatedly violated your workers' rights to freely and fairly form unions and collectively bargain, and have intimidated, threatened, and fired pro-union workers.

You must allow your employees their right to freely choose union representation and not retaliate against the workers for standing up for their rights.

As the news of the injustices at your plant travels far and wide, customers who care about human rights, civil rights, and workers' rights will not want to purchase products packaged with abuse.

It is time to settle this problem! I urge you to do the right thing for your employees in North Carolina.

Sincerely,
